The Metropolitan Police have arrested a woman in her 40s on suspicion of murder after a man was found dead at a home in Orpington, south east London on Saturday afternoon
A man’s body was found in a house before a woman was arrested on suspicion of murder.
The 51-year-old victim was distinct dead at the scene in Orpington, London on Saturday afternoon.
Both police and paramedics had rushed to the scene, Kent Live reported.
A woman in her 40s was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and has been taken into police custody.
The Met Police said the man and woman are believed to have been known to each other and nobody else is sought in connection with the incident.

A spokesman additional: “Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service and found the body of a 51-year-old man. He was distinct dead at the scene.
“A post-mortem examination will be arranged in due course. The man’s family have been informed.
“The man and woman are believed to have been known to each other. Nobody else is sought at this time in connection with the incident.
“The police investigation is led by detectives from Specialist Crime. Anyone with information that may assist the investigation is asked to call 101, ref 8549/09oct.
